Who is The Burro?
My name is Mike McAvinew and I am the owner of Thorough Burro Home Inspection and a life-long resident of Ohio. I am a Nationally Licensed Home Inspector, and an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector. I have been involved in residential construction and home improvement all of my life. From additions, to modernizing electrical wiring, to updating plumbing fixtures, to replacing HVAC components - I’ve done it!
I pride myself on having an extensive knowledge of all types of residential mechanical systems, their proper function, and how to identify existing issues and potential future problems. I reside in Lexington, Ohio with my beautiful wife, Ashley and a cat named Wallace. Being a diehard car guy at heart, I love hearing the races at The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course all summer! I love waking up to the sound of engines revving up for qualifying on a weekend morning.
